Bios
S. Layli Sobhani
Layli Sobhani is the President of Layli & Co. She is a marketing professional specializing in both print and online marketing. She has over 13 years of experience in all areas of marketing communications including brand strategy and positioning, brand management, event marketing, advertising, public relations, internal sales and product development and launch. She has had first-hand industry experience in high-technology communications and consumer products after working with companies including ValueClick, Boeing, L-3 Communications, DirecTV International and Astrolink/Lockheed Martin.
She received her MBA from the University of Southern California and holds a BA in Biological Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
Leslie Snyder
Leslie leads Layli & Co.'s brand and marketing programs. She has over seven years of experience researching, creating and executing on a multitude of effective brand and marketing campaigns for a diverse range of clientele. Her past work experience includes serving as the brand developer, writer, editor and project manager for Commission Junction, a division of ValueClick, Inc. Prior to Commission Junction, Leslie was an Account Executive for Christie Communications, a marketing firm dedicated to promoting niche products and services. During her time at Christie's, she exceeded her clients' business goals, including increased sales and brand awareness, through the creation of effective media campaigns. In addition, Leslie has held positions at Prima Consulting Group, were she established and developed the Prima brand within a worldwide market. Leslie received her BA in Communications from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
Carrie Dorsey
Carrie leads Layli & Co.'s public relations and corporate communications efforts. She has over 10 years of public relations and marketing experience. After launching the leading online storage company with over 10 million users, Carrie joined Antenna Group, one of San Francisco's leading technology public relations agencies. Carrie has worked with a variety of technology companies from telecommunications, nanotechnology, new media, VoIP and software. In 2001, Carrie was nominated by two separate outlets for "Technology PR Campaign of the Year." Carrie received her BA in History from the University of California at Davis.
Ladan Cher
As Senior Copywriter for Layli & Co., Ladan Cher is responsible for overseeing the textual promotion for our various clients. She is an expert editor and experienced journalist and author. She has had extensive work in the publishing world, having worked with various magazines, scholarly journals and newspapers.
She received her BA from the University of California at Los Angeles where she studied Journalism and Classical Civilizations.
